What this site is
Nekonote Toolbox is a free collection of web tools for developers and IT administrators: converting data to code, formatting and checking files, and other small jobs that come up in day-to-day work. The name comes from a Japanese saying about being so busy that you would welcome help even from a cat.
The site started in Japanese, where it offers around 55 tools. We are bringing the most useful ones to English one at a time, and each English page includes an example, notes on limitations, and a short FAQ.
How we run it
- Your input stays in your browser. The tools on the English site process what you paste locally and do not upload it.
- No account is needed. The tools are free to use without signing up.
- Advertising: the site does not currently show ads. If we add them, we will not show ads on pages where you enter sensitive data such as passwords or API keys, and we will update the Privacy Policy first.
- Corrections: if a tool behaves incorrectly or a page contains a mistake, please tell us. We will check and fix it.
