Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 7, 2026. The Japanese version (日本語) applies to the Japanese pages; this page applies to the English pages.
1. What you enter into a tool
Every tool on the English site processes your input in your browser. The text, files and data you enter are not sent to our server or to any third party.
The site also applies a Content Security Policy that limits which servers your browser may contact, so a page cannot quietly send your input elsewhere. You can check this yourself in your browser's developer tools (Network tab).
Exceptions on the Japanese site: a few tools on the Japanese pages send what you enter to look it up. The network and reverse-DNS tools send the domain name or IP address you type to our server, which performs the DNS query and discards it afterwards. The SPF validator sends the domain name from your browser to Cloudflare, Inc.'s DNS over HTTPS service (cloudflare-dns.com). None of the tools on the English site do this.
2. Analytics (Google Analytics)
We use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google LLC (United States), to understand how the site is used and to improve the tools. On the English pages, Google Analytics is loaded only after you click "Accept" in the banner. If you decline, or do nothing, it is not loaded and no analytics cookies are set. You can change your choice at any time with "Cookie settings" in the footer.
If you accept, your browser sends Google the following:
- the page URL and title, the referring page, and the time of your visit
- your IP address (anonymized by Google), browser, operating system, device type, screen size and language
- an identifier stored in a cookie

The Japanese pages load Google Analytics without a banner, as described in the Japanese policy.
3. Server logs
Like most web servers, ours records each request: IP address, time, the URL requested, the referring page and the browser type. We use the logs to investigate faults and abuse. They are deleted automatically after about one month and are not shared. We also count how many times each tool page is opened per day (counting one visit per IP address per tool per day, and excluding bots) to show a "popular tools" list on the Japanese home page. Those counts do not include IP addresses or browser details.
4. Cookies and local storage
- Analytics cookies (
_ga,_ga_*): set only if you accept analytics on the English pages (always set on the Japanese pages). - Local storage: we store your analytics choice (
analytics_consent) in your browser. The Japanese pages also store the sidebar state and any custom links you add. This stays in your browser and is not sent to us.
5. Other services that load on our pages
Pages load fonts from Google Fonts, and some tools load libraries from cdnjs (Cloudflare), jsDelivr or the jQuery CDN. When they do, the provider can see your IP address and browser details. Your input is not sent to them.
6. Sharing
We do not sell or share personal information, except where the law requires us to disclose it.
7. Advertising
The site does not currently show ads. If we add advertising, we will update this policy first, name the provider, explain what data it collects and how to opt out, and we will not show ads on pages where you enter sensitive data such as passwords or API keys.
8. Your rights (EEA, UK and similar regions)
Where the law requires consent for analytics cookies, we rely on your consent, and you can withdraw it at any time with "Cookie settings" in the footer. You can also ask us what personal data we hold about you (for example, an email you sent us), or ask us to delete it, by writing to the address below.
9. Contacting us
Use the contact page or email info@meowassist.net.
The contact form does not send what you type to our server; it opens your email app with a message drafted from what you entered. If you email us, we use your email address, name and message only to reply and to improve the tools, and we do not share them. We delete messages once they are no longer needed.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page.
